Uniliorin SU Speaks On Admission And Scholars "Payment"

The Students' Union (SU)  of the university of Ilorin finally spoke to the media in respect of the admission rumors and "controversies". In a program held last night, 31st January, 2018, 7:15pm on Uniliorin 89.3 FM, the PRO of the SU in person of Comrade Oyewunmi Muftau Bidemi popularly known as MYT amongst the "Unilorites" on event titled STEWARDSHIP RADIO PROGRAMME where he was aired live talking about occurrences on campus as well as indications of their administration's readiness to serve the ordinary University of Ilorin student as he mentioned the persistent extention of registration and payment of charges which has been extended for five consecutive weeks notwithstanding the  fact the school calendar reads 11th academic week. He revealed further that notwithstanding the huge extension, some students haven't been able to pay their fee owing to financial constraint and the Vice Chancellor in his magnanimity gave his word to the effect that such concerned students will be allowed to access payment and registration portal to do the needful.

Talking about the second bath admission list, MYT says there's no admission expectation anymore as the VC made the SU know. He identified the admitted candidates as "the blessed" ones and in similar vein, he hoped the yet to be admitted candidates to be optimistic and he pointed that candidates who have the chances of being admitted in that category are the ones who have been one way or the other notified of their admission but yet to be made official. "many were called, few were chosen... ", he said

Also, speaking on the scholarship fund meant for scholars which has been on halt for quite few years, MYT says with total assurance that the scholars for 2015/2016 sessions will be paid this week or in the coming week.
He stressed the privilege is a "propeller" for academic excellence as that poses a motivation for the students to study hard and excel academically.
